CELEBRITIES TAKE THE STAGE FOR YOUNGSTERS
Beloved figures from the arts, society, and business will take the stage on November 28th for a concert dedicated to young people, as part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG)! Sponsored by DenizBank, the concert will feature performances of songs by Turkey's first female lyricist, Fikret Şeneş, accompanied by Ozan Doğulu and his orchestra. All proceeds from the concert will go towards supporting young volunteers.
Since 2002, the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) has been empowering university students through scholarship and mentorship programs, as well as supporting their world-changing social responsibility projects. TOG is gearing up to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a magnificent concert at the Maximum Uniq Hall on November 28th. The concert will feature performances of unforgettable songs by Turkey's first female lyricist, Fikret Şeneş, by beloved personalities from the arts, society, and business, including Nükhet Duru, Birce Akalay, Kaan Sekban, Sarp Apak, and many more surprises, accompanied by Ozan Doğulu and his orchestra. Pınar Altuğ and Hakan Bilgin will host the evening.
All proceeds from the concert, sponsored by DenizBank, will be donated to the Community Volunteers Foundation to support social responsibility projects implemented by young volunteers across 81 provinces in Turkey.
About Fikret Şeneş:
Born in 1921, Fatma Fikret Şeneş was Turkey's first female lyricist. Şeneş, who took singing lessons and played the piano, wrote her first Turkish lyrics for the song "İki Yabancı" in the late 1960s. She introduced nearly 290 songs to Turkish pop music. Fatma Fikret Şeneş passed away in 2015.
