About Us
As the Community Volunteers Foundation, we are launching the Social Entrepreneurship Incubation Program to support young people in discovering their potential in the field of social entrepreneurship and transforming their projects into sustainable business models.
Within the scope of the Social Entrepreneurship Incubation Program, we provide our volunteers with the opportunity to find innovation-oriented solutions to social problems and to transform these solutions into socially beneficial business models. Participants will understand social entrepreneurship concepts, develop business plans, and create business models that benefit society.
By participating in the Social Entrepreneurship Incubation Program, you can seize the opportunity to implement your socially beneficial projects.
Program Process
- Application Period:
Projects of TOG communities and independent project groups that have gained experience by reaching a specific target audience under the umbrella of the Community Volunteers Foundation will be able to apply online. Applications will be accepted from March 28 to April 7, and the information provided in the application forms will be evaluated. - Evaluation of Applications:
Applications will be reviewed by an expert evaluation team in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, and candidates' projects will be evaluated based on social impact potential and innovation criteria. Criteria such as geographical distribution, gender balance, and non-graduate status, which are used as criteria in all activities of the Community Volunteers Foundation, will be taken into account in the evaluation. A maximum of 5 projects will be included in the program. Results will be announced on April 9. - Ideaton Program:
The program will start with the "Ideaton" event. During the 48-hour Ideaton event, teams will first receive interactive and entrepreneurship-focused training, then design their business models step by step and receive feedback. After the training, a mentoring program will be organized for teams to receive feedback on their designed business models. The mentoring program aims to allow teams to present their business models one-on-one with 15 entrepreneurs. Ideaton will be held at the TOG Ankara Coordination Center. - Business Development Oriented Trainings:
After Ideaton, participants will receive training on topics such as B2B/B2C marketing, financial management, design thinking, presentation techniques, and social impact measurement. Online sessions will be organized by experts and industry representatives. - Demo Day Program:
At the end of the program, a Demo Day event will be organized to promote the work to a wider audience and to facilitate financial support for the business models. The event will be attended by young volunteers of the Community, TOG's stakeholders, collaborating companies, leading entrepreneurs and executives, and public institution managers. The event will include a fair area for teams to introduce their business models and to network. Subsequently, there will be Demo Day presentations where teams will present their business models. Each team will be given 10 minutes to present their business models to the guests. Before the Demo Day program, teams will create their own campaign pages, and crowdfunding campaigns will be introduced after the teams' presentations, allowing for real-time support from participants in the program. The aim is to raise the necessary budget for implementing the business models through crowdfunding. The program concludes with the presentations of the business models by the teams.
